The Coopita - Cooperative Stones - a birthday on the same day that Nono, the mayor hurricane from Belo Horizonte- MG and president Bossa Nova, from Brazil
The Cooperative Stones Coopita, founded in September 12th 2005 is the management of mineral extraction activities in Ingenio in our town of Gouveia. It is a socio-environmental project that rescues citizenship through working with ornamental stones or popularly called quartzite, stone mining. 32 years ago we developed this work "milking the stones," among worthy men and brave women. Respecting mother nature and their environment.
The purpose of the foundation date be linked to the birthday of President Juscelino is to seek to treat the other, the farmer with the same respect and dignity that we Brazilians were fondly cherished by the man of singular brilliance and honesty.
The accompanying text records a speech by the COPAM meeting in the city of dates on March 13, 2006 after a period of downtime on deposit with serious socioeconomic workers and their families on sustainability losses.

"TAKING MILK STONES"
In the calculation of João Guimarães Rosa " Mines are many ." Brilliant , multifaceted , it is the artist carat stoning of words and reflections .

steel industry in the country, a large piece of fabric manufacturing ,

extraction and trade of gold and diamond. Even the rebellion of the Conspirators against the excesses of the
Portuguese Court , arose from obstinacy of men who 300 years ago settled
in this distant corner of the sea to in ventura , finding the luck in
the craft of mining.This brief review of memory and our history brings out the relevance of those events to our reality mining region . Diamantina , Serro , dates , Gouveia and more, are cities which mineral extraction is the main income , in some cases only .Generate income near the habitat of the worker , especially in the rural areas is critical . It is the " apple of the eye " of socio- economic projects for government organizations as well as non-governmental .Dignity of work and citizenship are born and not alms , and this is worthy in any social rung .The
historic exodus of the region directed to the peripheries of large
cities , swelling the slums and increasing social inequality statistics
can be avoided and minimized if the company's shares spiked allowing the
insertion of the working people who have no categorization within the
most diverse and perverse qualification frameworks imposed by modern social structures , to insufficiently developed communities .Mineral extraction is gold , diamond or ornamental rock like quartzite embraces this because of a natural and objective manner .Can not do without this modern era equipment . But today and for much longer arm of the worker is a priority . Since the remote past of the captaincy , it is still necessary and the presence of man is increasingly relevant . And most importantly , this activity: without qualification required for a more selective market.Our city Gouveia not proportionally inherited conducive to agricultural and pastoral activity soils . Instead, we have a rich heritage to be explored , it is like a treasure stored in our basement .Currently there is specific legislation on environmental issues . Environmental management agencies at the federal level IBAMA , the
state scale Copam interact with entrepreneurs , guiding and supervising
the projects , seeking balance between man and the environment in which
he lives .And the laws need to be respected . But the dignity and work of man must and shall be preserved .Harmonise laws , environment and income generation through employment
of labor, local labor is one of the pillars of partnership between the
state , the entrepreneur and the worker .We are in favor , while entrepreneurs , economic development of mining activity with a view to preserving the environment .In
the final meeting of Copam ( 11-09-05 ) in the city of Red Water , in
the presence of President Dr Ram Shelley , was signed and authenticated
by the directors of a motion for release thereof activities quarry
Ingenio , in our county . Decision which , not limited to technical issues , looked more emphatically human approach .Determination
that allowed more than one hundred families rejoice with the real
